~Ashlee & Nicole - Misquamicut Beach - RI Wedding Photographer~

I have known Nicole since since she was a baby, so when she asked me about photographing her wedding there was no question that I would do it!  I had already photographed both her sisters' weddings and it was an honor to shoot hers as well.

I met Ashlee the first time when Nicole's sister Amanda married, and it was clear from the start how in love her and Nicole were.

It was a beautiful September wedding on the beach at Misquamicut in Rhode Island.  Every detail was perfect, from the flowers (created by the amazing Heather of Creative Collections by Lily & Co.) right down to the rainbow wedding cake!

Congratulations Ashlee & Nicole, I can't wait to share more of your life story through the years!

~Suzanne - Seaside State Park, Waterford, CT. - CT Newborn Photographer~

The photos I'm sharing with you today turned out so beautifully. As I was editing all the preview pictures for this blog post, I kept getting more and more excited with how they all turned out.

Before I post the pictures though, I want to first tell you about my model. Suzanne is a fellow photographer who graciously agreed to model for me when I finished sewing this maternity gown.

Suzanne looked stunning in this gown. The purple complimented her gorgeous blonde hair beautifully.

Overall, we had a really wonderful time together and I even had a few extra models who agreed to get into the frame with mom.

Check out these gorgeous photos!

~Ryan & Kathleen Buttonwood Farms, Griswold, CT. - CT Wedding Photographer~

Ryan & Kathleen were another couple that answered my model call.  I love photographing couples, especially when they look this good together!

We did the session at Buttonwood Farms in Griswold Ct, during the height of the Sunflowers for Wishes Event. It was crazy at this location, people everywhere, but I was able to give them some amazing images that made it look like wewere the only people there!

Every summer Buttonwood Farms grows fields of sunflowers, as far as the eye can see. At the end of the event the spend a week selling as many sunflowers as they can and all the proceeds are donated to the Make a Wish Foundation.  As crazy as it gets up there, it is all worth it.

Check out these gorgeous images and if you get the chance check out Buttonwood Farms' Sunflowers for Wishes Event!

~John & Nicole - Nathan Lester House, Gales Ferry, CT. - CT Wedding Photographer~

I put out a model call for couples in love. John and Nicole answered that call, and I am so glad they did!

The Nathan Lester House is one of my favorite places to shoot a session.  There is so much variety between the house, the barn, the garden, and the trails.

I had so much fun shooting this session, we laughed, they kissed, and I shot.  They are such a great couple and are clearly very much in love with each other.

~Siana - Mystic, CT. - CT Newborn Photographer~

Little Siana was a calm little one.  She loved being wrapped and snuggled by the soft white fur.  She could have slept for hours just like this.

Siana's newborn shoot was done in the comfort of their home.  I wasn't sure how the little one would do once we unwrapped her but she slept soundly just long enough for us to get some really amazing shots.

~Sean & Jessica - Meadow Brook Inn - RI Wedding Photographer~

I just loved Sean & Jessica's Country Chic wedding!  From the cowboy boots the girls wore with their short dresses to the custom his & hers ring boxes.

Meadow brook Inn was the perfect venue for their style

Weddings are always beautiful, but sometimes the bride & groom make an impression just a little bit more than the others.  This was definitely true of Sean & Jessica.  There were no serious formal shots of these two because neither one could stop smiling long enough.

You can see the joy in these images.

~Franklin & Lexi - Goddard Park, Warwick, RI. - RI Wedding Photographer~

Franklin & Lexi are one of the cutest couples in the world.  They "met" in high school but never really connected until college, where Franklin was roommates with a shared mutual friend.

Lexi filled me on how he proposed.  Franklin surprised her on her birthday by proposing with all four of their parents there.  It was so sweet that they were able to share that special moment with their parents.

Their wedding date is set for October 16th. They will be getting married at the beautiful CAV Restaurant in Providence, RI.  The CAV Restaurant is as beautiful, unique and fun as Franklin and Lexi are. They're not just excited about the details, though. They're also excited to spend the rest of their lives together. It's so clear that this couple is head-over-heels for each other!

~Chris & Gelana - Arborteum, New London CT. - CT Wedding Photographer~

I put out a model call for couples in love and Chris & Gelana jumped at the chance to get in front of my camera.  We discussed outfits and locations and ultimately decided on the Arboretum in New London.

We took our time walking through the arboretum and picking just the right spots. Sometimes the right spot is in the middle of the trail.

You can see just how much these two love each other.

~Landon Three Month Session - Nathan Lester House - Ct Children's Photographer~

Remember baby Landon?

It feels like just yesterday I was crouched in front of adorable Landon snapping pictures like a maniac at his newborn session. I was really looking forward to seeing him again to see how he has changed over the past three months. And my, how Landon's grown!

He is already reaching for his toys and almost grabbing them on his own! Amanda said that he loves to hear his own voice. What a cutie patootie!

As you can see from the pictures below, Landon has a standout personality. He clearly knows how to work the camera. Do we have a future Casanova on our hands?

Luckily for me, I get to photograph Landon again in three months. I'm dying to see how much more he has changed between now and then!
