~Franklin & Lexi - Providence, RI. - RI Wedding Photographer~

Congratulations Franklin & Lexi!

Franklin & Lexi chose to have a First Look before they said I Do.  It was important to them that the first time they saw each other was a private moment between just the two of them.

Franklin & Lexi had one of the most unique weddings I have ever shot.  Instead of Bridesmaids and Groomsmen they had Team Lexi and Team Franklin, with a mix of men and women on both sides.  They were such a fun group to work with.

The wedding and reception were held at the CAV Restaurant in Providence, RI.  This place was amazing. It had such an incredible vibe that fit their style.  And to top it off Lexi's 19 year old niece surprised them by getting ordained to perform the ceremony!  How wonderful to be joined in marriage by someone who knows and loves you as well as a family member!

“It was amazing, perfect and most importantly, I felt like it was uniquely us.” says Lexi.

Wish you could have been there, too, blog readers! At least you can live through the pictures!

~Mike & Katie - St Pius Church, Westerly - RI Wedding Photographer~

I've got another stunning wedding to show! The gorgeous couple consists of Mike & Katie, two people that anyone would love to know.

Their wedding day was truly breathtaking. It was a beautiful Catholic wedding at St Pius Church in Westerly RI, in one of the prettiest churches I have ever seen.

The bride's dress was seriously gorgeous, too. And I'm not just saying that!

We had a lot of fun taking wedding pictures, as well. They decided to not see each other until Katie was walking down the aisle. However they did want a moment to pray with each other before the ceremony!

Okay, let's get to the pictures! Mike & Katie were such a delight to work with and I wish them many wonderful years to come.

~Josh & Kayla - Meadowbrook Inn, Charlestown, RI. - RI Wedding Photographer~

Josh & Kayla were such an adorable couple.  Kayla is such a little thing that reminded me of Miranda Lambert.  I love the connection between her and her dad walking down the aisle.

The color of the bridesmaids dresses are a photographers dream, so bright and pretty.  They coordinated beutifully with the grey suits the guys were wearing.

Every so often you get an image that just makes such an impact.  This image below is one of those images.  The bride's parents, the groom's parents and the newlyweds will surely be an image this couple will cherish.

As we were finishing up the formal images I noticed this beautiful classic Mustang (my favorite car ever) sitting in the parking lot.  I had to ask about using it for photos and was overjoyed when they told me that was why they brought it!

~Ashlee & Nicole - Misquamicut Beach - RI Wedding Photographer~

I have known Nicole since since she was a baby, so when she asked me about photographing her wedding there was no question that I would do it!  I had already photographed both her sisters' weddings and it was an honor to shoot hers as well.

I met Ashlee the first time when Nicole's sister Amanda married, and it was clear from the start how in love her and Nicole were.

It was a beautiful September wedding on the beach at Misquamicut in Rhode Island.  Every detail was perfect, from the flowers (created by the amazing Heather of Creative Collections by Lily & Co.) right down to the rainbow wedding cake!

Congratulations Ashlee & Nicole, I can't wait to share more of your life story through the years!

~Sean & Jessica - Meadow Brook Inn - RI Wedding Photographer~

I just loved Sean & Jessica's Country Chic wedding!  From the cowboy boots the girls wore with their short dresses to the custom his & hers ring boxes.

Meadow brook Inn was the perfect venue for their style

Weddings are always beautiful, but sometimes the bride & groom make an impression just a little bit more than the others.  This was definitely true of Sean & Jessica.  There were no serious formal shots of these two because neither one could stop smiling long enough.

You can see the joy in these images.

~Robert & Melissa - Lighthouse Point Park - CT Wedding Photographer~

I always love photographing weddings. There's so much love in the air and the bride and groom spend so much time carefully planning all the details. It was not any different for Robert & Melissa’s wedding, either!

The wedding and reception were at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven CT, and was catered by Taco Loco Taco Truck and Big Green Pizza Truck. They danced to their first song "Never Stop" by Safety Suit, which was played by DJ Gadget - Aimee Spicer.

A few more people that helped their wedding go off without a hitch was:

Cake Maker: Vesta Bakery of Westerly RI

Wedding Planner: The Bride herself - Events By Melissa

Where Dress was Purchased: Vows Bridal Outlet in Watertown MA

Florist: Flowers and centerpieces were created by the bride, including the stunning brooch Bridal Bouquet

I will never forget how everyone was brought to tears by the Bride's Daughter who could not contain the happiness at the vows exchanged by her mother and new father.

Rob and Melissa went to high school together but were never friends, until years later when they connected through Melissa's cousin.  They spent time getting to know one another and Rob popped the question on New Year's Eve 2014 as the ball was dropping.

When I asked Melissa what her favorite part of the wedding was, she said:

"For me, there were two moments. One was the moment we were announced as husband and wife.  We had waited for so long it was amazing to finally have it be here.

The second was a moment we set up just for the two of us. After all our guests left we asked the DJ to play a song that has special meaning for us and we just danced.  We got to look out over the carousel and our tables all lit up and I think we both just felt so proud of what we had accomplished, so happy and just totally in love!"

You could tell they were really loving every minute of their special day.

Check out this gorgeous wedding!
